Documentary Projects
In the past two years, I have worked on grant-based documentaries and produced works in the capacity of director, editor and researcher. These include collaborations with institutes such as Keele University (UK), Jamia Millia Islamia (New Delhi), and Charles Correa Foundation. My projects have covered themes such as 'environmental storytelling', 'urban mobility', 'religious segregation and consequent subcultures in Indian cities'.

City Moves
2023/18 Mins
Director/Researcher
The film delves into the unexplored
inequalities of urban mobility in
Delhi. It exposes the fight for clean
air as a case of environmental
injustice through the stories of two
people navigating the city on cycle
and foot, exposing the segregated
spatial reality of the metropolis.

It was produced as part of ‘Storytelling for Environmental Change’ (www.pollutionstories.org), a joint project of Keele University and AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Millia Islamia, funded by the British Academy.
Ganga Ke Do Kinare
2022/8 Mins Director/Editor/Researcher
The film focuses on the Diaras - the riverine islands of Ganga - and their unique relationship with the Ganga and highlights the contrast between life at two opposing ends of the same river- Diaras and Patna. The film questions the infrastructure-heavy development that most cities are witnessing, their disastrous impacts on the fragile natural environment and how Diaras can pave the way for a more ecological and harmonious form of development.
It was commissioned by the Charles Correa Foundation under their annual filmmaking competition 'Nagari'.
